The Carbon Offset program was created to help organizations wishing to reduce their carbon footprint for conferences, workshops, meetings, etc. The Manitoba Forestry Association (MFA) carbon offset program looks at the tonnes of carbon emitted by an event, and calculates the number of trees required to offset those carbon emissions.

As part of this program MFA will calculate the number of trees required, obtain the stock, find a planting location and coordinate the planting of the trees.
