Volunteer Positions

The Manitoba Envirothon has a wide variety of volunteer positions.  The majority of positions are listed below.

FIELD TEST POSITIONS

Trail Stop Attendant - Monitor one stop (question) of the outdoor field test and keep track of the equipment provided at the stop.

Trail Monitor - circulate the trail with a first aid kit and radio to call in any questions/problems.

Trail Captain - ensure that teams and stop attendants are ready to begin the test.  Time the test and signal (with an air horn) when teams are allowed to begin the test, move to the next stop and end the test.

ORALS COMPETITION POSITIONS

Judge - score team orals presentations.

Facilitator - introduce teams to the judges, time the presentations and collect score sheets.

Monitor - monitor teams as they prepare their orals presentations.  Ensure that teams do not use resources (books, computers) that may be in their prep room.
