The Manitoba Forestry Association (MFA) is involved with a number of tree planting programs.

Planting for the Future
Planting for the Future program was created in partnership with Qualico Homes. Qualico has committed to fund the planting of 100,000 seedlings by the MFA over a ten year time period. Planting for the Future is one of many of Qualico' environmental stewardship strategy.

Planting Partnerships
The MFA is a partner with Tree Canada in their ongoing tree planting projects.
The MFA has a planting partnership with the Candian Forestry Association - Batesville Canada Tree Planting Program.

Carbon Offset Program
Trees planted through the Carbon Offset Program help to make various events greener and offset carbon emissions. Through the planting of trees, events such as workshops and conferences have reduced their ecological footprint.

National Forest Week
National Forest Week is observed in the last full week of September each year (Sunday to Saturday). National Forest Week is a time for Canadians to celebrate and learn about the importance of forests in our country. The MFA celebrates National Forest week through various tree planting events and other activities.
