  • A: Teams study 5 topic areas: Water & Aquatic Ecosystems, Native Plants & Forestry, Soils and Land Use, Wildlife & Wildlife Management and a current Theme. All study materials are provided by the Manitoba Envirothon Steering Committee and they can be found at Resources. This page also includes links to multimedia training and instructional videos, all the past Field Tests and Orals Challenges.

Q. How do we know what to study?

  • A: Each of the 4 core topic areas (Water & Aquatic Ecosystems, Native Plants & Forestry, Soils and Land Use, and Wildlife & Wildlife Management ) contain a resource entitled “Document”. There is also a list of each topics Envirothon Learning Outcomes. Read these outcomes and ensure that you understand and can complete each one because these Outcomes are testable.
